The 36th Tallinn Old Town Days will be taking place in Tallinn from 31st of May until 4th of June. This year’s Old Town Days’ leading principle is “Young Old Town”.

The event has been held since 1982 and symbolizing the beginning of summer. During these days courtyards, squares, streets and coffee shops will be filled with music. Visitors can peek into the courtyards of the Old Town and learn about the long and impressive history of Tallinn through festive events.

The year 2017 has been named The Year of Children’s and Youth Culture by the Estonian Ministry of Culture. Based on that conception the focus will be on young, cheerful, forward-looking, innovative and fresh mind and creating the most exciting, interesting and entertaining program for the whole period of five days.

Each day of the festival has a special slogan:

31st of May – opening day
1st of June – If all the power in the world would be given in the hands of children…
2nd of June – Take some time to look around
3rd of June – What’s the color of love
4th of June – At the end of one path another one begins…
