St. Catherine’s Passage is truly one of the most picturesque of Old Town’s places. This walkway connects Vene street with the Müürivahe street. The latter is well-known due to its famous knit market.

The passage is famous among tourists as St. Catherine’s Guild is situated there. St. Catherine’s Guild is a collection of craft workshops where artists create glassware, hats, quilts, ceramics and jewelry using traditional methods from the past. All the eight workshops are situated in the small, 15th- to 17th-century rooms. Moreover, visitors can see the working process of artists and craftsmen. St. Catherine’s Passage is combines both, creativity and a medieval atmosphere.
